Like 9 but not more than 25 cm, usually smaller and more slender; flowers always blue; calyx 3 mm in fruit, deciduous; corolla not more than 2mm, limb 1 mm in diameter; nutlets 1x0-5 mm, dark brown. 2/7 = 24,732,48. Mediterranean region; very local. Co Cr Ga Gr.
Often confused with 7(a); further investigation is needed.
