Annual. Flowers in pairs in a secund raceme. Calyx campanulate, 10-veined, with 5 subequal teeth in flower, 2-lipped in fruit. Corolla nearly actinomorphic, with 5 small lobes; tube shorter than calyx. Stamens subequal; anther-cells parallel, becoming divergent.
