Annual herbs. Calyx deeply divided into 6-12 lobes. Corolla rotate, yellow; tube short; lobes 6-12. Anthers basifixed,

oblong to linear, not or scarcely twisting spirally after dehiscence. Style filiform, caducous; stigma 2-lobed.
