To assist in the identification of the Chinese species of Lithobius ( Sigibius) , the following key is offered. This key emphasizes characters that can be examined without high-magnification microscopy; moreover, these characters are specific to the taxa occurring in China.
1 Four ocelli on each side of cephalic plate, Tömösváry’s organ larger than the smallest ocellus..... L. ( S.) trichinocaput sp. n. Six ocelli on each side of cephalic plate, Tömösváry’s organ about the size of the smallest ocellus. L. ( S.) bullatus Eason, 1993 View in CoL
