Type status (description). Holotype in Köhler’s collection.

Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Mendoza: Potrerillos , 2600m., iii.1940 (Chiarelli) .

Type specimens. ZSM: Syntype ♂. Argentina, Prov. Mendoza, Potrerillos , 2000m, iii.1940, Chiarelli leg., Coll. P. Köhler. Old label: Potrerillos, 2000m, iii.40, Chiarelli. Genitalia slide #668 .

Remarks. Although Köhler did not specify the sex of the holotype, he described only the male.
