nobilis View in CoL ( Paranicla ), 1959b: 118. [ Noctuinae . Noctuini ] ( Fig. 204 View FIGURES 194–209 )
Current status. Pseudoleucania nobilis [ Poole 1989]
Type status (description). Holotype, allotype, and paratypes in Köhler’s collection, additional paratypes in Schajovskoy’s and Petrowsky’s collections.
Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Neuquén: Chapelco, 24.xi.1952 (Schajovskoy); Lago Quillén , 18.xi.1952 (Schajovskoy) .
Type specimens. IFML: Holotype ♂. Terr. Neuquén, Chapelco , 1700m., 24.xi.1952, Schajovskoy.
Figures. Köhler, 1967: fig. 164 holotype (♀).
Remarks. Holotype specimen same as figure 164 ( Köhler 1967). Although Köhler (1967) cited the figure 164 as a female holotype, in the image it can be seen pectinated antenna and the shape of the tip of the abdomen correspodig to a male. Therefore, the sex mentioned for the figure is probably an error by the author.
