Current status. Junior synonym of Agrotis robusta (Blanchard) [ San Blas 2014]
Type status (description). Holotype, allotype, and 120 paratypes in Köhler’s collection, additional paratypes in Instituto Lillo.

Remarks. Allotype specimen with locality not mentioned in the material seen by Köhler in the description of the species, this specimen has to be taken with caution (San Blas & Barrionuevo, 2013).
