Current status. Hypotrix bimaculata [ Poole 1989]
Type status (description). Holotype male, allotype female, and paratypes of both sexes, in Zoologischen Staatssammlung in München.
Type locality and collectors. Holotype. Bolivia — Cuticucho : Río Songo, 3700m, 4.xii.1953 (W. Forster) . Allotype. Same locality and collector data, 28.i.1954.
Type specimens. ZSM: Holotype ♂. Bolivia, Songotal , Cuticucho, ca 3700m, 4.xii.1953, Leg. W. Forster. Genitalia slide #967 . Allotype not found.
Figures. Köhler, 1968: pl. 2, fig. 31 holotype (♂), fig. 32 allotype (♀); pl. 5, fig. 12 holotype male genitalia.
Remarks. Holotype specimen same as figure 31 ( Köhler 1968: pl. 2).
