Current status. Junior synonym of Pseudoleucania aspersa (Butler) [ Olivares 1994, following synonymization of Scania Olivares with Pseudoleucania Staudinger by Lafontaine 2004]
Type status (description). Holotype, allotype, and paratypes in Köhler’s collection, additional paratypes in Fleiss’, Petrowsky’s, and Schajovskoy’s collections.
Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Neuquén: Nahuel Huapi, xii.1945 (Havrilenko); San Martín de los Andes , xii.1949 ( Schajovskoy ), 27.iv ( Treichel ). Chubut: Esquel ( Köhler ). Slides #747, 761 .
Type specimens. ZSM: Holotype ♂. Argentina, Prov. Neuquen, Nahuel Huapi , xi.1945, Havrilenko leg. Old label: Neuquen, xii.45, Havrilenko . Allotype not found.

Remarks. Although Köhler described only the male, he designated both holotype and allotype.
