Current status. Copitarsia belensis [ Angulo & Olivares 2003]

Type status (description). Holotype, allotype, and paratypes in Köhler’s collection, additional paratypes in Paganini’s and Barrera’s colelctions.

Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Catamarca: Cuesta de Belén , abajo, entre Andalgalá y Belén, 26.iii.1969 (Paganini and Barrera). Slide #1261 .

Type specimens. IFML: Holotype ♂. Cuesta de Belén, 26.iii.69 . Allotype ♂ (same sex as holotype, thus considered paratype and not cited in this work).
