Distribution: Eastern China ( Jiangsu, Shanghai, Taiwan), Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Vietnam, India ( Assam, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal, Western Himalayas).
Remarks. This is the one of the most widely distributed species of Mantispilla . l Variations in body color have also been observed in this species.
