AUKEMA et al. (2013) and ROCA-CUSACHS et al. (2020) listed
Anepsiocoris encaustus (Puton, 1869) View in CoL
( Heteroptera : Rhyparochromidae ) as present on the island of Gran Canaria. Additionally, RIEGER (2020) reported the species as new for the island of Fuerteventura. A. encaustus is present on the island of Lanzarote, too: On 17-05-2021, an adult specimen was photographed in the courtyard of a private house in Costa Teguise (see here).
