Materialexamined. – HONDURAS (newcountryrecord), GraciasaDios : Miskitis, “Ciudad Blanca,” 15º14’47”N 84º58’02”W, 250m, 1♀, 15-26.II.2017, E. van den Berghe leg.( FSCA) GoogleMaps .

Remarks. – This species was described from Panama. Chemsak & Linsley (1970) designated a lectotype. However, there is no evidence that Bates (1885) had more than on specimen when he described the species.In fact, Bates (1885) provided a single measure:“Long. 4¾ lin.” Currently, it is known from Costa Rica, Panamá, and Ecuador ( Monné 2023; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2022; Bezark 2022).
