is newly placed as selfstanding species from subspecies of S. corcyreus (Reitter, 1884) . Short elytral setae, shape of antenna, rounded apex of aedeagus ( Osella 1981), and kind of distribution ( Osella & Zuppa 1994) clearly demonstrate its specific rank (Colonnelli, hoc opus)
