[= Curculio laevigatus Fabricius, 1792 not Paykull, 1792, syn. nov.] (Colonnelli, hoc opus). Note that Wanat (1995) correctly stated that the name by Paykull (1792) takes precedence over that of Fabricius who quoted (1792) the name Curculio laevigatus Paykull. The choice of the Sterlin’s name has been done in accordance with the synonymy proposed by Reitter (1913).
