[= Rhinocyllini Lacordaire, 1863 , syn. nov.]. No clear morphological or ecological boudaries exist between Lixini and Rhinocyllini to retain them as separate tribes (Colonnelli, hoc opus). For instance, small Larinus species of the subgen. Larinomesius are sometime hardly distinguishable from members of Rhinocyllus .
