Distribution. China ( Fujian, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Shandong, Sichuan, Taiwan, Yunnan, Zhejiang), Japan, Korea.
Note. This species overwinters as nymphs and is univoltine in Northern China (perhaps bivoltine in Southern China). The white line between lateral ocellus is very thin and sometimes absent ( Fig. 1e View FIGURE 1 ).
