Material examined: 1 specimen: MEXICO, Oaxaca, San Andrés Huayapam. 14-IX-2020. On flower of Dahlia pinnata Cav. (1791) . Leg. Martínez M, L. (1♀). New state record and new plant association .
Associated plants: Ambrosia ambrosioides (Cav.) Payne ( Asteraceae ), Gossypium sp. ( Malvaceae ) ( Rider 2015).
Remarks: Extremely little is known about the distribution, biology and ecology of this species. Here we report for the first time its association with Dahlia pinnata Cav and its occurrence in Oaxaca. In Mexico this species has previously been recorded in the states of Hidalgo, Puebla, and San Luis Potosi (supplementary material from Weiler et al. 2017).
