Diagnosis. This species differs from Mythenteles signifera Evenhuis & Kettani, 2018 (Chefchaouen, Morocco), M. hispanicola Evenhuis & Blasco-Zumeta, 2003 (Salamanca and Zaragoza, Spain), and M. infrequens Evenhuis & Blasco-Zumeta, 2003 (Málaga and Zaragoza, Spain) by having a completely black scutellum. This species is closer to M. andalusica Gibbs, 2007 (Málaga, Granada, and Salamanca, Spain) by having black mesonotum and scutellum but differs by having a longer Sc, ending at level slightly before than origin of vein R 2+3, and by having different genitalia (i.e., epandrium without posterior depression in ventral view and aedeagal bulb with only two lateral rami).
