Basionym: Eria pulverulenta Guillaumin (1955: 691) View in CoL .
Type:— VIETNAM. Annam: Dalat, 1954, Lambert 30 ( P!, P 00403664).
This taxon has been questionable for a long time, as only a badly preserved type specimen exists ( Seidenfaden 1982). The discovery of Tixier´s drawing ( Seidenfaden 1992) and publication of colour photographs ( Speckmaier & Sieder 2008) enabled much more precise characterisation of this species and revealed its similarity to C. thao and other species recently treated in Campanulorchis ( Seidenfaden 1992, Speckmaier & Sieder 2008). Because C. thao is likely a close relative of E. pulverulenta , classification in Campanulorchis is proposed here.
