Distribution: Northern Africa, Macaronesia, Southern Europe, Syria ( World Spider Catalog 2024).
Comment: De Blauwe (1980a) mentioned the presence of this species in Algeria while she only observed material from Simon (1875b) of the Alps and Corsica in France. This species has never been collected in Algeria either before or since, as the country has been sampled up to the present day. According to the WSC, it is found in North Africa but not specifically in Algeria.
