Type species. Lepthyphantes muscicola Menge, 1866 ; gender masculine.
Remark. Lepthyphantes comprises 164 species (including 62 species known from females and 17 species from males) distributed worldwide (Europe to South Siberia and Far East) (WSC 2024).
Note. Both of the new species described here belong to Lepthyphantes s.lat. and not to Lepthyphantes s.str. sensu Saaristo & Tanasevitch, 1996 b: 176 (WSC 2024).
