Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin adjective “inversus ” meaning “inverted” and referring to the inverted aspiral loop of copulatory ducts in epigyne.
Diagnosis. Wulingnus furcata sp. n. can be diagnosed by the shape of median plate, copulatory ducts, and spermathecae ( Figs 295A–C View FIGURE 295 ).
Description. Female ( Figs 296A, B View FIGURE 296 ): Total length: 2.79. Carapace 1.26 long, 0.98 wide, cephalic region slightly elevated, yellow–brown, fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct. Clypeus 0.31 high. Chelicerae with four promarginal and five retromarginal teeth. Sternum longer than wide, brown with microsetae. Eyes: AER recurved, PER procurved, slightly wider than AER. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.05, ALE 0.09, PME 0.06, PLE 0.06 AME–AME 0.03, PME–PME 0.08, AME–ALE, 0.03, PME–PLE 0.06, AME–PME 0.08, ALE–ALE 0.35, PLE–PLE 0.41, ALE–PLE 0.02. Length of legs: I 3.71 (1.05, 1.27, 0.86, 0.56), II 3.32 (1.01, 1.13, 0.71, 0.47), III 2.96 (0.89, 0.98, 0.64, 0.45), IV 4.1 (1.16, 1.25, 0.82, 0.87). Tibial spine formula: 2-2-1-1. TmI 0.64 and TmIV 0.67. Opisthosoma 1.53 long, 0.93 wide, oval, grey, mid dorsally with black broad band, ventral side pale with green band.
Epigyne ( Figs 295A–C View FIGURE 295 ): Simple integument (Int.) covering the epigyne anteriorly; median plate (MP) broad, wider than long; copulatory opening (CO) present at the junction of integument and median plate; copulatory ducts (CD) thick, with inverted coiled loop before joining the spermathecae, present mesally; spermathecae (S) elliptical, present laterally on median plate, spaced by two-third of diameters; fertilization ducts (FD) small extending mesally.
Male. Unknown.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality (Hubei Province, Fig. 313 View FIGURE 313 ).
