Etymology. This specific species name derived from the type locality; adjective.
Diagnosis. Yuelushannus diaotangensis sp. n. can be distinguished from all other congeners by the spermathecae copulatory ducts arc-shaped; spermathecae present anteriorly ( Figs 301B, C View FIGURE301 ).
Description. Female (holotype, Figs 302A–C View FIGURE 302 ): Total length: 1.34. Carapace 0.59 long, 0.44 wide, pale, fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct. Clypeus 0.23 high. Chelicerae with five promarginal and five retromarginal teeth. Sternum longer than wide, yellowish green with microsetae. Eyes: AER recurved, PER straight, slightly wider than AER. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.03, ALE 0.04, PME 0.04, PLE 0.04, AME–AME 0.01, PME–PME 0.02, AME–ALE, 0.01, PME–PLE 0.02, AME–PME 0.02, ALE–ALE 0.14, PLE–PLE 0.16, ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 1.66 (0.46, 0.51, 0.41, 0.28), II 1.53 (0.42, 0.48, 0.39, 0.24), III 1.26 (0.37, 0.38, 0.32, 0.19), IV 1.46 (0.42, 0.43, 0.38, 0.23). Tibial spine formula: 1-1-1-1. TmI 0.19 and TmIV present. Opisthosoma 0.73 long, 0.49 wide, oval, pale, densely covered with fine setae.
Epigyne ( Figs 301A–C View FIGURE301 ): Ventral plate (VP) wider than long, sclerotized; dorsal plate (DP) relatively transparent, partly visible in ventral view; copulatory opening (CO) present ventro-mesally; copulatory ducts (CD) columnar, present ventro-mesally; spermathecae (PS) kideny-shaped, present dorso-laterally; fertilization ducts (FD) small, extending mesally.
Male. Unknown.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality (Hunan Province, Fig. 315 View FIGURE 315 ).
