( Figs 1–7 View Figures 1–4 View Figures 5–8 )
Redescription. Male habitus ( Figs 1–2 View Figures 1–4 ). Antennae, head, thorax and abdomen pale straw to straw. Forewing. Forewing length: 19–24 mm. Somewhat triangle with rounded apex and tornal angle, outer margin convex and slightly wavy. Ground color pale straw to straw. Pattern, if not absent, consists of vague doubled pale and dark straw postmedial line ( Fig. 1 View Figures 1–4 ) or single dark straw postmedial line ( Fig. 2 View Figures 1–4 ), barely pronounced dark straw discal dot. Fringe straw. Hindwing. Somewhat trapezoid, outer margin convex and slightly wavy. Ground color straw. Pattern, if not absent ( Fig. 1 View Figures 1–4 ), consists of vague dark straw postmedial and submarginal lines ( Fig. 2 View Figures 1–4 ). Fringe straw. Genitalia ( Figs 5–6 View Figures 5–8 ). Tegumen a band widening medially. Socii membranous, covered with short chaetae. Uncus more ( Fig. 6 View Figures 5–8 ) or less ( Fig. 5 View Figures 5–8 ) elongated with more or less pronounced neck ( Fig. 6 View Figures 5–8 , shown with arrows), covered with short chaetae, distally has two pointed apices ( Fig. 5 View Figures 5–8 ) or one rounded ( Fig. 6 View Figures 5–8 ). Gnathos short, semioval, spatula-like with uneven surface; narrow subanal plate goes from it towards anal opening (Fig. 16). Vinculum a narrow band. Valvae elongated, rounded, covered with chaetae, laterally and ventrally slightly wavy; sacculus weakly pronounced. Juxta boat-like, apically rounded, widened basally, surrounds aedeagus. Aedeagus elongated, narrow, almost straight. Vesica small, ovoid. Female habitus ( Figs 3–4 View Figures 1–4 ) Similar to male but has very short rami on antennae, broader and more transparent wings. Forewing length: 21.5–24 mm. Female genitalia ( Fig. 7 View Figures 5–8 ). Papillae anales semispherical, densely covered with setae. Posterior apodemes twice as long as anterior ones. Vaginal plates reduced. Ductus sclerotized. Bursa very long, pear-shaped. Reminds closely related L. ponticus from Türkiye ( Fig. 8 View Figures 5–8 ), but ductus is shorter.
Examined material: 2♂, 2♀, Iran, Zanjan Province, Gilvan Pass , 2000–2200 m, 5– 15.10.2007, leg. Hacz (CGM) .
