Diagnosis Pronotum long and slender (LP: WPM = 3.86), 1.5 × length of pterothorax. Profemoral ISs rows: anteroventral row distally with three gradually shortened processes along distal 1/3 length of profemur, major process with primary branch 2.0 × length of secondary branch; posteroventral row with nine gradually shortened processes, subequal gaps among proximal three processes, primary process 2.0 × length of following one, 1.5 × length of secondary branch; protibia bearing short setae, protibial prostrate setae strongly angularly curved. Forewing with 13 costal crossveins proximad pterostigma, mostly simple, three ra-rp, inner gradates present with two crossveins; hind wing medial inner gradates absent. Male sternum 9 broad and large, deep scoop-like, slightly surpassing apex of ectoprocts, c. 2.0 × length of latter; gonocoxites 9 distally simple and acute; gonapophyses 10 slightly broadened; gonostyli 10 (pseudopenis) short, curved dorsad; ectoprocts short elliptical, wider than long.
Description Measurements and proportions. Male. Body length 8.51; LP (2.20): WPM (0.57) = 3.86; LPc (2.30): LPf (1.43) = 1.61; LPf: WPf (0.43) = 3.33; LPP (2.11): LPf = 1.48; LFW (6.88): WFW (2.28) = 3.02; LFPt (2.00): WFPt (0.34) = 5.88; LF2r (1.15): WF2r (0.26) = 4.42; LFim (2.25): WFim (0.23) = 9.78; LHW (5.95): WHW (2.09) = 2.85.
Morphology. Male. Head. Vertex slightly domed; epicranial suture invisible. Postocular region narrow in lateral view. Antenna reaching 1/2 length of pronotum; scape robust, distally strongly swollen, c. 2.5 times as long as wide, c. 1.5 times as long as pedicel; pedicel swollen, as long as wide, twice as long as flagellomere 1; flagellum 29-segmented; each flagellomere nearly as long as wide; terminal flagellomere acute distally, twice as long as prior one. Palpi unclear; terminal maxillary and labial palpomere distinctly tapering towards distal acute point.
Thorax. Pronotum long and slender, 1.5 × length of pterothorax, bearing sparse pedicellate, long, and thick setae; mesonotum anteriorly bearing sparse long thick setae. Profemur bearing long and dense setae; profemoral ISs rows: anteroventral row with major process arising near base of profemur and three gradually shortened processes (all processes arranged in the order of length) along distal 1/3 length of profemur, primary branch over 2/3× length of protibia and 2.0 × as long as secondary branch; posteroventral row with nine gradually shortened processes, primary process very long, 2.0 × length of following one, 1.5 × length of secondary branch; protibia bearing short setae, protibial prostrate setae strongly angularly curved, 15; protarsus: tarsomere 1 nearly as long as tarsomeres 2–4 combined, tarsomere 2 c. 1.5 × length of tarsomere 3, slightly shorter than tarsomere 5, tarsomeres 3 and 4 subequal, tarsomeres 1–4 ventrally bearing 6, 2, 2, 2 conical setae respectively. Mid and hind legs bearing dense long setae; meso- and meta-tarsi each with tarsomere 1 nearly as long as tarsomeres 2–4 combined, tarsomere 2 c. 1.5 × length of tarsomere 3, slightly longer than tarsomere 5, tarsomeres 3 and 4 subequal, tarsomeres 1–4 distally bearing 2, 2, 6, 17 thickened setae visible respectively; two simple pretarsal claws; arolium sac-like, with rounded apex.
Wing long elliptical, branches of RP and M with dense apical twigging. Forewing with small dark markings on origin of M, ra-rp, gradates, 2 m-cu, cua-cup, pale brown cloudy markings along wing outer margin; trichosors present almost around entire wing margin (invisible on posterior margin); costal space moderately broad, directly extending to pterostigma; ScA invisible; recurrent humeral vein simple; 13 costal crossveins proximad pterostigma, only three bifurcated; pterostigma distinct, commencing at level near distal 1/3 length of 2r cell, extending to 3/4 length of 3r cell, with distal margin sinuous and moderately oblique; incorporated veinlets obscure; subcostal space distally slightly broadened proximad pterostigma, with only one crossvein distinctly distal to original point of RP; three ra-rp; 3r cell with one RA branch running to costal margin; RP originating at proximal 1/4 length of wing, with five main branches proximally smooth or slightly sinuous; inner gradates, four outer gradates; proximal r-m present; 1rp-m upright, slightly distal to primary branching point of M; M diverging from R proximal to lm-cu for a short distance; im cell with four main branches; CuA possibly with three main branches.
Hind wing with only distal part visible, similar to forewing, but immaculate; RP with four branches; three outer gradates; im cell with three main branches.
Terminalia bearing dense, long, soft setae. Tergum 9 separate from ectoprocts, slightly narrower than latter; sternum 9 c. 2.0 × length of sternum 8, broad and large, deep scoop-like, surpassing apex of ectoprocts slightly, c. 2.0 × length of ectoprocts; gonocoxites 9 stout, distally simple and acute, scleritized strongly; gonocoxites 10 invisible; gonapophyses 10 slightly broad; gonostyli 10 (pseudopenis) short, curved dorsad; ectoprocts short elliptical, wider than long, bearing dense long setae; callus cerci invisible.
Female unknown.
Material examined Holotype, BXAM BA-NEU-002 , amber piece preserving a complete male adult of D. zhuozhengmingi sp. nov., polished in the form of a long elliptical transparent cabochon, with length × width c. 37.72 × 10.40 mm, height c. 6.40 mm.
Etymology The new species is dedicated to Mr. Zhengming Zhuo, the family member of the first author, Mr. De Zhuo.
Remarks Doratomantispa zhuozhengmingi sp. nov. is similar to D. burmanica and D. pouilloni in the major process with the primary branch 2.0 × length of the secondary branch, the subequal gaps among proximal three processes of profemoral posteroventral row, the protibial prostrate setae strongly angularly curved, and the forewing with similar dark markings, almost all costal crossveins of the proximad pterostigma simple and inner gradates present. It can be distinguished from D. burmanica by the following characters: (1) more profemoral processes, (2) the gap between primary and secondary branches of major process narrow, (3) the forewing costal space broader, (4) the forewing proximal r-m present, and (5) the hind wing medial inner gradates crossveins absent, and from D. pouilloni by (1) broader forewing costal spcae, (2) hind wing with at least two ra-rp, and (3) hind wing inner gradates absent.
