Doratomantispa pouilloni Jouault & Nel, 2022
Jouault et al., 2022: 391 (original: Doratomantispa , holotype in IGR)
Diagnosis Pronotum long and robust (LP: WPM = 5.02). Profemoral ISs rows: anteroventral row with two? gradually shortened processes, major process with primary branch 2.0 × length of secondary branch; posteroventral row with nine gradually shortened processes, subequal gaps among proximal three processes; primary process 2.0 × length of following one, 1.5 × length of secondary branch; protibia dorsally bearing short setae, protibial prostrate setae strongly angularly curved. Forewing with a dark stripe on posteroproximal portion, extending from 2 m-cu to posterior margin, costal crossveins all simple, CuA with three main branches; hind wing medial inner gradates present, with only one ra-rp. Male sternum 9 broad, large, deep, scoop-shaped, apically rounded, not surpassing apex of ectoprocts; gonostyli 10 (pseudopenis) short, curved dorsad.
Remarks Hind wing CuP interpreted in Jouault et al. (2022: fig. 3A) actually is the combination of A1 and the distal branches of CuP, and the true hind wing CuP stem might be reduced in this species. The gonocoxites 10 in Jouault et al. (2022: fig. 3C) should be gonocoxites 9 or gonapophyses 9. Up to date the gonocoxites 10 reported in Mantispidae is unpaired. This species is similar to D. zhuozhengmingi sp. nov. and D. burmanica , and the differences among them can be seen under the remarks on D. zhuozhengmingi sp. nov. and Jouault et al. (2022).
