TYPE LOCALITY: Bolivia, Potosi Dept., between Potosi and Sucre, El Cabrado, 3700 m .
DISTRIBUTION: Altipiano of extreme S Peru (Puno) and N Chile (in Chile see Spotorno, 1976; Pine et al., 1979), through W Bolivia, to NW Argentina (Jujuy and Catamarca).
SYNONYMS: lineicaudatus.
