PA: Afghanistan, Algeria, Austria, Azores, Belgium, Canary Is., China (Hefei, Xining, NE Tibet), Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan ( Hokkaido, Honshu), Macedonia, Madeira Islands, Malta, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia (European Territory), Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Ukraine, former Yugoslavia.
Egyptian localities: Coastal Strip: Dekheila, Mariout. Lower Nile Valley & Delta: Beni-Sueif (Sids) ( Deeming, 2002: 53) , Cairo , Giza [ Hafez (1947) recorded this species on cow dung from Giza] . Sinai: Abu- Zeneima. Upper Nile Valley : Asswan.
Dates of collection: November to April.
