Material. 3 otoliths, NMNHU-P PI 2711, Staryi Zavod.

Discussion. Three small specimens, the largest ( Figure 6 View FIGURE 6 M-N) being 0.9 mm in length represent typical blenniid otoliths characterised by the triangular outline, the short sulcus with the anteriorly widened open ostium and the very small, slightly downturned cauda that is separated from the ostium by a distinct narrowing at the collum. They represent Blennius ? martinii described by Reichenbacher et al. (2019) from the early Sarmatian of Romania.
