Comments. This species was previously known from the type locality in Rivera, Huila. The material examined confirms the suspicion of Gonzalez and Griswold (2012) that L. huilensis occurs along the Magdalena valley, overlapping in distribution with L. opita , and reaching the Caribbean region ( Fig. 2 View Figure 2 ). It has been recorded from elevations ranging from 170 to 921 m.
