Comments. This species was previously known from the type locality in Armero, Tolima. The material examined here indicates that L. opita also occurs in sympatry with L. huilensis along the Magdalena valley, reaching as far north as Sucre, in the Caribbean region of the Colombia ( Fig. 4 View Figure 4 ). Specimens of this species have been collected from 170 to 1765 m.
