Type species. Capillogryllus dolabripalpis Xie & Zheng, 2003 View in CoL
Diagnosis. Sized small for Gryllinae , with black or reddish-black bodies. Body conspicuously pubescent, with the abdominal terga being densely pilose. Wingless in males; females either wingless or possessing minute wing buds. Absence of tympana. The epiphallus H-shaped.
Distribution. China ( Xizang, Guangxi, Guangdong).
