To date, the fossil family Baissidae contains 36 recognized species within seven genera: Baissa (3 spp.), Electrobaissa ( 1 sp.), Heterobaissa ( 1 sp.), Humiryssus (6 spp.), Manlaya (21 spp.), Mesepipolaea (2 spp.) and Tillywhimia (2 spp.). In total, 12 species of which are recorded in China, included within Heterobaissa ( 1 sp.), Humiryssus (5 spp.), Manlaya (4 spp.) and Mesepipolaea (2 spp.) ( Engel 2013; Li et al. 2018; Jouault et a l. 2022).
