General distribution. This species occurs in most European countries (mostly along seacoasts and in the Pannonian lowland in central Europe), Mediterranean, North Africa, Anatolia, Transcaucasia, Middle East, Central Asia, and India (see Fent et al. 2011; Cianferoni 2019).

Remarks. Females were identified according to Höregott & Jordan (1954) and Jansson (1986).
