General distribution. Species with a restricted distribution, occurring in Anatolia, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Israel (see Jansson 1995, Aukema et al. 2013).

Remarks. Jansson (1995) quoted a personal communication by E. Kanykova suggesting that in some regions of western Asia this species was misidentified with Sigara striata ; the same probably occurred with the record of Corisa striata by Giglio-Tos (1894) when S. albiventris was undescribed yet.
