Material examined. Published records: “ Beirut ”, [ 11.VII.1893], [ E. Festa leg.], [ E. Giglio-Tos det.] as Corisa Fabricii (Fieb.) , F. Cianferoni revid., 2 ♀♀, MRSN .

Survey material: Basin of El Kebir: Delbé, 8.VI.2008, 1 ♀, MLUB ; Magl el Bal, 8.VI.2008, 1 ♀, MLUB . Basin of Litani : Yelouch, 24.XII.1988, 1 ♂, CFC .

General distribution. This is a West-Palaearctic taxon ( Cianferoni 2019; see Jansson 1995).

Remarks. Presence in Lebanon of this taxon has been confirmed after the old records by Giglio-Tos (1894) and Horváth (1926).

The subspecies S. nigrolineata mendax Heiss & Jansson, 1986 is restricted to Crete and small adjacent islands ( Csabai et al. 2017).
