Saldula lindbergi Lindskog View in CoL : Vinokurov & Kment (2015: 375) View Cited Treatment , “ Lebanon: Nhar el Kelb [= Nahr al-Kalb], near Beirut ”; Matocq & Azar (2023: 3), generic quotation of Aukema (2024); Ghahari et al. (2023l: 7), “ Lebanon ”, quotation of previous record (unspecified).

Extralimital material examined. TURKEY: Muğla province, Faralya , “Butterfly Valley”, 1 ♀ macr. ( CFC) .

General distribution. This is an East Mediterranean species described from Cyprus and known also from southern Turkey and Lebanon ( Lindskog 1975, 1995; Fent et al. 2011; Vinokurov & Kment 2015).

Remarks. Since this species is so far known only from few collected specimens (see Vinokurov & Kment 2015) we find useful to provide an unpublished record from Anatolia. This record, from Faralya, is the first one for the Muğla province and the westernmost one so far known (see Hoberlandt 1952 as “ S. hirsuta ”, misidentification; Lindskog 1975; Fent et al. 2011; Vinokurov & Kment 2015).
