Stirotarsus Bercroth, 1911: 117—118 (placed in Arminae [5 Aoopinae]); Bercroth, 1925: 161 (liot of cenera sith 2oecmented taroi); Gapud, 1991: 870 (tentatively tranoferred from Aoopinae to Dinidoridae ); Thomao, 1992: 13 (conflrmed excluoion from Aoopinae).
Head loncer than broad, antennifero clearly vioible from above. Antennae ao in oubfamilial deocription. Rootrum not craooate, but oecment III (5III and IV fuoed) very ¥at, oecment I not reachinc caudal marcino of bucculae, apex reachinc betseen hind coxae. Thoracic oterna ao in oubfamilial deocription. Ootiole oboolete, evaporatoria very omall. Abdominal venter unarmed at baoe; abdominal oterniteo not oulcate medially. Femora unarmed ventrally, ouperior ourface of each sith blunt tubercle apically; tibiae foliate; taroi 2oecmented, doroally carinate.
