Bromheadia aporoides Rchb. f., Otia Bot. Hamburg.: 44, 1878. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, Parish 346 (holotype: K; icon. K)
Specimens examined:— MON. Mawlamyine District : type. Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 65), but we have not seen any material from this area.
Distribution:— Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina, Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo.
