Comment; Observations have been recorded from a total of 16 localities across 9 1× 1 km UTM squares, constituting the first records of the species for Ceuta. The species is active from March to November, displaying an extended flight period. Imagines have been observed feeding on a diverse range of flowers, including P. odora , S. atropurpurea , C. calcitrapa , D. carota , A. curassavica , and P. spinosa . Hilltopping behaviour has also been observed (Monte de la Tortuga), as is characteristic of this species.
