According to Phillips-Rodriguez & Powell (2007), this species is recorded from Bolivia, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Cuba, and apparently flies throughout year. Our records represent a northern extension of the previously known Central American range.
Specimens examined: Honduras: Dept. Cortés, P.N. Azul Meámbar, Panacam , 1900 m, 5–7 Mar 2021 (2♂), E. van den Berghe ( EAP) .
