Specimen determined as Mycetophila ornaticollis Meigen, 1818 in the "Exotic" collection. Material. Male [SPM004746, without coloured tag, labelled: M. ornaticollis Meig. ď? Neuenk.] – Germany: "Neuenkirchen prope Gryphiam" = near Greitswald, 15–20 May 1842, leg. Dahlbom.

Specimen determined as Mycetophila nigricollis Zetterstedt, 1852 in Zetterstedt (1852: 4207).

Material. Male [SPM004743, with purple red tag, labelled: M. nigricollis Zett. ď. Lund Scan.] – Sweden: SK, Lund, September – October 1838.

Specimen determined as Mycetophila alternans Zetterstedt, 1838 in Zetterstedt (1852: 4215).
