Type genus: Chloropella Malloch, 1925 .
Diagnosis: Long ocellar setae; up to four long fronto-orbitals; frons not projected beyond level of eyes; presence of dorsocentral seta close to scutum suture; combination of 1 + 1 notopleurals; tibial organ absent; long surstyli.
