Diagnosis. The species in this clade are recognized by the combination of the following states: parascrobal area abruptly narrowed slightly below the midlevel of the eye, about 0.4 EH above the lower eye margin ( Figs 3I View FIGURE 3 , 5I View FIGURE 5 , 7I View FIGURE 7 ); the lower face below torulus with sparse and evenly distributed setae ( Figs 3H View FIGURE 3 , 5H View FIGURE 5 , 7H View FIGURE 7 ); and the male scape with sparse pits ( Figs 4F View FIGURE 4 , 6F View FIGURE 6 , 8G View FIGURE 8 ).
Included species. P. carolinensis , P. cabecar and P. minasgerais .
