Material examined. 1 female, 7.VIII.2021, Gongshan County, Yunnan Province, China, leg. Si-yao Huang ( CHSY) ; 1 female, 2.IX.2023, Chawalong , Chayu County, Xizang Autonomous Region, China, leg. Yong-qiang Xu ( IPBX)

Remarks. This is the first record of the female of this recently described taxon, which inhabits only in the Nujiang Valley. Compared with the females of the nominate subspecies from Dulongjiang Valley ( Fig. 46 View FIGURES 46–49 ), Northwest Yunnan and Kachin State, Northeast Myanmar ( Yokochi 2011), the females of E. thawgawa wuzhenjuni differ in the absence of the white spots in spaces 6 and 7 on hindwing upperside and the medial band on forewing upperside slightly broader near the costa.

Distribution. Southwest China (Along Nujiang valley from Northwest Yunnan (Gongshan County) to extreme Southeast Xizang ( Chawalong , Chayu County )).
