Number of specimens recorded. 5.

Distribution. Europe, but not recorded from Scandinavia, Britain, Ireland nor the Iberian peninsula; also North Africa. Portugal: three northern provinces.

Ecology. All Portuguese sampling sites feature canopy by trees and most also open water. Indeed, also in the rest of Europe, the species prefers running water ( e.g., waterfalls, springs) in deciduous forests ( Pollet 2000).

Rarity (%). 4.6 (rare).

Activity period. April–June.
