Diagnostic characters. Frontal tuft cream white to ochreous yellow except greyish brown basally. Forewing ochreous cream to ocherous yellow, with some sparse black scales apically. In male genitalia, uncus lobes incurved, pointed at apex, excavation between uncus lobes slightly rounded anteriorly; valva with costal and ventral margins both sinuate; vinculum broadly rounded or produced anteriorly, ventral plate with distinctive posterior excavations; phallus with two long bands of spines laterally ( Xu et al. 2021: 81, figs 19‒28).
Distribution. China ( Jiangxi).
Remarks. Xu & Dai (2021) described Coptotriche turpinia from Jiangxi Province in China and Lao Cai Province in Vietnam, along with Turpinia arguta ( Staphyleaceae ) as its host plant.
