Remarks. – This species was described by Bates (1872) from a single male in Belt’s collection from Chontales, Nicaragua. It is now known from Mexico ( Guerrero and Chiapas), Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, and Ecuador ( Monné, 2024a; Tavakilian & Chevillotte, 2024).

Material examined. – BELIZE ( new country record), Stann Creek District: 3 specimens, Toucan Ridge Ecology & Education Society field station, Middlesex, 37 km W of Dangriga , 9 June, 2016 (1), 13-15 June, 2016 (1), 20 June – 1 July, 2016 (1), L.G. Bezark, collector, mv/blacklight ( LGBC) .
