Chrysopodes (Neosuarius) Adams and Penny, 1987: 435 . Type species: Chrysopa collaris Schneider, 1851 ; original designation.
The subgenus includes 11 described species distributed throughout the Neotropics, adults are pollen-feeders, and females have a slightly extended subgenitale ( Brooks and Barnard 1990). There is one species in Canada, as follows:
